  • Are company personnel mentioned by name on the site?
Once you've settled on a few companies, you can enter their business name in a search engine with the words 'problem' or 'scam', and see what comes up.

Before contacting a UK commercial mortgage broker, you could consider other avenues to get a lower price for the type of property you want, like

  • Buying off-season, in November and December;
  • Buying a repossessed property - competition from pros, but again, worth a look;
  • Reassess your needs. Do you really need all that frontage and floor space?
